Volunteer Information Update

If you are planning to volunteer in January and need housing, you should contact the volunteer coordinator soon, as we are very near capacity for the first half of the month. We are able to house 200 people at our volunteer site, and registration has almost reached this number! Please register at least two weeks in advance if you would like to volunteer with us, as we are getting very busy, and this is the only way for us to guarantee you housing. Email commongroundvolunteers (at) gmail.com or call (504)218-6613 for more information.

Please remember that DOGS ARE NOT ALLOWED at our volunteer housing site. If you are travelling with a pet, you will have to find alternative housing arrangements for it while you are working with us.

(can you add this part to the packing list?)
Winter is here, and it is getting cold. Please bring a warm jacket and mitts, and a hat. It is also a good idea to bring warm bedding as well!
